A unique, perennial, and cold-hardy type of onion that reproduce by "walking" across a garden. The plant forms a cluster of small bulbs, or bulbils, at the top of its stalks. As these bulbils mature, their weight causes the stalk to bend toward the ground, where the bulbils then take root and grow into new plants.
